Despite being rubbish with the website, 2016 was a good year for Bivisible. We had a great time in the Community Tent at Bristol Pride where we had some amazing response.
The table did so well that we were awarded Best Community Table at the Bristol Pride Awards. This was voted for by the general public which we're pretty chuffed about.
For Bivisiblity Day we joined a couple of the contributors for a reading and discussion on the book Purple Prose : Bisexuality in Britain. The book is filled with interviews, essays and poems from those identifying as bisexual all over Britain. We were able to grab a copy ourselves for those who wish to take a look at meetings. For more information please visit the publisher website http://thorntreepress.com/purple-prose
With lots more happening this year, the team will be meeting for an AMG to discuss future plans for the group including more visibility at LGBT events, weekend meets and events and better social media activity. We've also got a couple of exciting ideas we'll be sharing soon.
It's a little bit late but a Happy New Year from all of us at Bivisible Bristol. We look forward to an even more visible year.
