News and BiVis Winter Gathering

I would like to start off with an apology for the lack of content on this website. It has been a busy last few months for the Bivis team what with house moving and personal issues and it can be hard to keep everything up to date.

That said, we have seen a great boost in people joining us at Kino since we advertised at Pride back in July. We're really pleased we've been able to reach out to so many and we want to continue getting better and better and keeping the Bi community in Bristol and the South West strong.

We'll be making some changes in the new year, which will be announced soon. Until then we would like to invite you to The BiVis Winter Festival Theme Funtime Gathering.

To make a change from the usual Bivisible meeting, come join us at Hydra Books (bottom of Old Market) from 8pm on Friday 4th of December for a glass of spiced punch and cookies (including vegan/gluten free). We know this time of year can be busy for everyone so we'll be providing a chilled and relaxing atmosphere that will ease you into December. We'll have a Wishing Tree for you to write your hopes for the new year and hopefully a few pressies for guests.

No drinks will be sold at this event but there will be a complimentary glass of spiced punch or non boozy fizz and you are more than welcome to bring your own tipple. Old Market provides on road parking close to Hydra as well as down Midland Rd and Waterloo Rd.

As this is a Friday there are plenty of other events happening in Bristol that may take your fancy afterwards. Old Market will be buzzing with activity from the Bear community as the Bristol Bear Bar holds it's annual HiBEARnation weekend. Where the big, beary and beautiful men from all over the country come to visit Bristol. You can find out more information here

One of our new members Bramble has informed us of Love For Sale w/ Marshal Darling. This will be at The Doghouse from 10pm, showcasing the best of what the underground music scene has to offer. You can find out about the event here

The Queenshilling will be hosting DIGILOGUE which will be playing 80's electro and alternative from 10pm.

Know of any events happening? Let us know so we can shout it from on high (or at least put it on the website)
